Your THANK YOU card is one important way to cheer up a serviceman or woman seriously disabled while serving in Afghanistan or Iraq, or other military veteran. Many troops who've been severely burned, blinded, paralyzed, brain-damaged or suffered other disabling wounds will never be able to work again. And many of their spouses have quit their jobs to take care of them, which is why some fall into such desperate financial circumstances.
